AAAA Consulting joined the Tectonic Engineering team as a subconsultant in pursuit of Task Order RFP No. 99 under the MTA C&D Indefinite Quantity Construction Management & Inspection Services Contract. The assignment provides pre-construction and construction support services for Contract No. 36730 – Component Replacements at the Hunter North and South Substations, a critical infrastructure project to improve the reliability and performance of the MTA traction power system.
Our proposed services include resident engineering, construction inspection, field coordination, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), contract administration support, schedule and progress monitoring, documentation management, safety oversight, review of contractor work activities, coordination with project stakeholders, and support for testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
The project includes the replacement and modernization of critical substation components at the Hunter North and South Substations to improve system reliability, maintainability, and operational resiliency. With an anticipated 42-month construction management duration, AAAA Consulting is committed to supporting Tectonic Engineering and MTA C&D in delivering this essential power infrastructure project safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract requirements and MTA standards.
